Co-creation and testing of a physical activity intervention with and for Black patients with colorectal cancer.

Physical activity can significanly improve the quality of life and health outcomes for people diagnosed with colorectal cancer, both during and after treatments. SHARE is working with Dr. Hirschey to create and test the PACE intervention. This research is funded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (K23MD015719).

SHARE published an article with Dr. Hirschey to detail how they came together as a community advisory board and developed a shared mission and values to guide their work.
